The 506th District Court and District Clerk remain identified with the Justice Center at 400 Sheriff R. Glenn Smith Drive.

Do not infer the hearing site from the custodian's address. A Waller County criminal record may be kept by the District Clerk while the proceeding occurs at Austin Street. Jury notices may name the Commissioners Court room, CCL2 courtroom, or the district court at the Justice Center. Read the court and room on the current notice, then call the issuing office when the locations conflict.

Access & Restrictions

Texas law favors access to non-exempt government information, but it does not make every detail public. Government Code Chapter 552 governs public-information requests. Judiciary access rules govern court records, while Government Code sections 411.083 and 411.135 limit criminal-history dissemination and permit public release of specified conviction and deferred-adjudication data.

Juvenile files, grand-jury material, sealed warrants, protected victim details, and sensitive identifiers may be withheld or redacted.
